When a former Salisbury town selectman had a corner of the Salisbury Colonial Burial Ground analyzed for previous burials in hopes he might be buried there, they found four unmarked graves.
The markers may have washed away with time or perhaps these were paupers’ graves. Given this land is steeped in the secrets of the 1692 Salem Witch Trials, I suppose it is even possible there could be a link there. Some things may remain in the realm of mystery. 🤷🏻♀️
